We forge ahead

While the normal functioning of the yeshiva was disrupted over the last few months, we carried on with phone shiurim and other means of connecting. Three weeks ago, Baruch Hashem, we reopened the Beis Medrash itself according to the new guidelines of the health ministry as approved by gedolim. The Beis Medrash is split into sections with plastic dividers separating the rabbonim and the bochurim. They speak through the plastic. Additionally, the bochurim are not allowed to leave the premises for 14 days. It’s new territory for us, but we forge ahead for the sake of Avodas Hashem and Limud Torah.

Note: The rules say there is ‘no need for a mask when learning one-on-one with a chavrusa.’
