Special shiur in Kiryat Sefer

As we have entered the month of Iyar, we are facing a difficult time for all of Klal Israel and one of the most challenging times the Torah world has encountered in a long time. It’s been decades since all the yeshivos were closed and locked as they are at this time.

We raise our eyes to Hashem. He should remove this plague from us and from each and every one in Klal Yisroel. And he should send a refuah shleima for all the cholim in Eretz Yisroel and around  the whole world.

In this difficult time, we say to ourselves, “התנערי מעפר קומי”,  rise from these tribulations for the honor of Hashem and His Torah.

בסייעתא דשמיא, we merited to “open” our summer zman via telephone and other technologies with bochurim at home reviewing lessons given by our rebbeim and the Rosh Yeshiva, shlita.

Baruch Hashem we were also able to set up a digital system for chavrusos via telephone through which we were able to monitor the presence of the bochurim online and to interact with them. The rabbanim of the yeshiva are working hard to support the bochurim in this unique time. 

Recently, the Rosh Yeshiva, shlita, traveled to Kiryat Sefer where he delivered a special shiur to several of our bachurim who live there. The whole experience — done with adherence to all the social distancing rules — gave a tremendous chizuk to all involved. 

We daven that the merit of learning Torah with the boys’ mesiras nefesh will help to protect klal Yisroel and our friends of the yeshiva from any plague and harm.

We are now waiting for further instructions from gadolim, if, when and to open the Yeshiva or part of it safely.

May we merit to see speedily the building of Torah and we should be zoche to “השיבנו ה’ אליך ונשובה חדש ימינו כקדם”
